Anja Basters heads the CERN Industrial Liaison team for Germany since 2023 and is also Science Manager for Strategy and Communication at the DESY Projektträger project management agency on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. She has a research background in structural biology and biochemistry and holds a PhD in biomedicine from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
