Barbora holds a PhD in thermonuclear fusion from Swiss Federal Institute of technology EPFL. She has a multidisciplinary career spanning science, UN, government, industry, and education, including roles at CERN in knowledge transfer (HEPTech), communication, and outreach (IPPOG). As president of NGO S4SF and founder of Youth@STEM4SF, she inspires society leaders on the value of science for sustainability. She is a STEM ambassador at Uni Bern, FCC Switzerland engagement lead at Uni Zurich, and MBA professor of innovations for sustainability in Geneva.
