Francesco d’Acapito, a physicist, currently serves as a research director at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. Throughout his career, he has focused on synchrotron radiation instrumentation, utilizing X-rays to investigate atomic structures in advanced materials. He leads the LISA project at the ESRF Synchrotron in Grenoble and serves as the Industrial Liaison Officer for ESRF and the European XFEL.
