Daniele La Civita is a mechanical engineer with over fifteen years of experience encompassing design, production supervision, installation, and commissioning of high-precision mechanical devices for photon and electron beam transport in cutting-edge research facilities. Presently, he serves as the leader of the Mechanical Engineering Group at European XFEL in Hamburg. Previously, he worked as a design engineer at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and at Sinctrotrone Trieste.
