Philip Diamond CBE, SKAO Director-General, has enjoyed an international career in radio astronomy at SKAO, CSIRO, JBCA, MERLIN, NRAO, Max-Planck Society and Onsala. Leading the SKAO project since 2012, Phil is dedicated to building the world’s largest radio telescopes to change the way we understand the universe and deliver benefits to society through global collaboration and innovation.
