Per Olof Friman is section leader of the CAD and Engineering Processes unit at CERN. He started his career at CERN in 1999, defining requirements and specifications for the procurement of the current main CAD tool at CERN. He has since led several implementations related to CAD and data management tools and methodologies, and he played a key-role in the selection and procurement of the new PLM platform for CERN. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.
