Dr Samuli Heikkinen is an Engineer specialized, for the past 20+ years, in advanced material and manufacturing technologies present in the Big Science facilities. He is currently working at F4E/ITER, Barcelona, for the Blanket components responsible of qualification and development activities, particularly for the new W armour needed for the First Wall Panels. Prior joining F4E/ITER he worked at CERN for the development of future particle accelerators.
