At Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen / Switzerland, Tibor Bütler is responsible within the strategic purchasing team for the large research facilities procurement projects, like for SwissFEL, the SLS 2.0 upgrade project and the and the PSI contribution procurements for the ESS in Lund. He has a broad experience in procurement, business development and management of contract manufacturing and engineering services in the medical, aviation and power technology industry sectors. He holds a master’s degree in service Marketing & Management and a certificate of advanced studies in Public Sector Procurement and Law from the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
