Since 2021, M. Nonis is the Deputy Department Head in the Engineering Department at CERN, in charge in particular of contract strategy, resources and personnel management, Department administration. The Engineering Department (EN) is responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance of technical infrastructure and mechanical engineering activities for the CERN accelerator complex and its experimental facilities. Between 2009 and 2020 Leader of the Cooling and Ventilation Group for all accelerator’s underground and surface premises. Between 2000 and 2008 Group Leader for the Facilities Management at CERN.
