A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague and along with, as part of the “double degree” Erasmus program, a graduate of Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. After completing his studies, he joined the major construction company Costain Ltd., where he was selected and completed the Graduate Development Programme for future managers. He worked as a Site Engineer on the implementation of large construction projects. After several years in the United Kingdom, he accepted a job offer from Vinci Construction France, where he worked as a Construction Site Manager and QA Manager on significant construction projects in Paris, Grenoble, and Lyon area for clients such as EDF, Areva, and Orano. Since 2012, he has been working at the Research Centre Řež (CVR), where he worked directly on the JHR construction in Cadarache as the Chief Project Engineer responsible for delivery of Hot Cells. He subsequently moved to the position of division director of the Large Technological Projects, and since 2019, he has also position of executive of CVR. Thanks to his studies and work experience abroad, Petr BREZINA speaks fluent English and French.
