Roberto Ragazzoni is the President of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF). He is a full professor at the University of Padua’s Department of Physics and Astronomy and served as the Director of the Astronomical Observatory of Padua. Ragazzoni worked in various prestigious institutions in Tucson and San Diego (United States of America), Heidelberg (Germany), and Florence (Italy), contributing significantly to the development of advanced optical systems for astronomical observation both from Earth and space.
