Facilitating access procedures among Big Science organisations
The International Organising Committee of the Big Science Business Forum 2024 (BSBF2024-IOC), meeting in Rome, has announced the winners of the Big Science Common Market (BSCM) call.
This initiative focuses on harmonisation of access tender procedures among Big Science Organisations (BSOs), with the aim of simplifying processes and improving participation in call for tenders (CFTs) launched by the various BSOs.
Six major industrial players were selected on the basis of their significant contributions and proposals:
- Dal Ben (Italy, Mechanics)
- Leybold (Germany, Cryo/Vacuum)
- Nuvia (Czech Republic, Automation)
- VTT (Finland, Modelling/Simulation)
- Procon (Spain/Italy, IT/Control)
- IT SVN (Italy/Slovenia, Electronics/Sensors)
Next October each selected company will present its proposal to pave the way forward a Big Science Common Market in Europe during BSBF2024 in Trieste. The winners will share their experiences and recommendations in a dedicated session aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in the Big Science community.
