Dr. Joachim Schulz is Group Leader for Sample Environment and Characterization at the European XFEL Facility. With his group, he develops and operates state-of-the-art sample delivery solutions and operates the user laboratories including various characterization methods. Joachim Schulz has a background in atomic and molecular X-ray spectroscopy and instrument development for X-ray scattering experiments. He was one of the pioneers in XFEL instrumentation.
