Dr. Esko Oksanen obtained his PhD at the University of Helsinki, Finland in protein crystallography. Since 2011 he is an Instrument Scientist for Macromolecular Crystallography at the European Spallation Source, Lund, Sweden and since 2013 the lead scientist for the NMX Macromolecular Diffractometer instrument project.
