Miguel Nuñez is the systems engineer for the European Solar Telescope. He has more than 20 years of engineering experience in telescopes and astronomical instrumentation working mainly for the Institute of astrophysics in the Canaries. He is interested in the study of the sun, adaptive optics and systems engineering for big telescopes. He has a master degree on telecommunication and a master in astrophysics.
